We hope you’ll be completely satisfied with your purchase. If the item is still in its original condition, unopened, you can take advantage of our simple return process, outlined below.
This policy also outlines when you can return an item that is faulty or not as described at point of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns Period
We offer a returns period of 28 days. This period starts from the date you received your order.
Cancelling Your Order
You can legally cancel a Contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Your legal right to cancel a Contract starts from the date your order is delivered to you, which is when the Contract between us is formed. You can cancel the contract (your order) up to 14 days after the day you receive your full order. This is known as a ‘cooling off period’. You must provide notice of cancellation no later than 14 days after the receipt of goods.
To cancel a Contract, download our Cancellation Form from our website, complete the form and email it to returns@blackbirdcollectables.co.uk.
If an item has been delivered to you before you decide to cancel your Contract then you must return it to us without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the day on which you let us know that you wish to cancel the Contract.
Please note that we may withhold your refund until we have received the Goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back to the correct Blackbird Collectables return address (see below) – whichever is the earlier.
Eligible Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unopened, unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
For your benefit and for reasons of product integrity and hygiene, please note we cannot offer refunds or exchanges, unless faulty or not as described, on Gift cards and gaming items including but not limited to:
For all other products, simply return your unwanted item within 28 days of receipt unused, unopened, in its original condition and packaging. Your return must be in a re-sellable condition.
You will be liable for the cost of returning the goods to us, unless the items are faulty or not as described, and must ensure that they are returned in protective packaging. Where an item is damaged or returned otherwise than as per our stated requirements above, we reserve the right to refuse redress.
Refunds
Once the item is received by Blackbird Collectables it will be checked and granted it meets our return policy conditions we will then offer a refund for this item. Refunds will be applied to the payment method that was used to purchase the item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
You should receive notification of your refund within 10 working days after your parcel has been returned. If you have not received notification of your refund within 10 working days, please contact us. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Damaged or Faulty Items
We check all of our items prior to sale to ensure they are in good condition and use high-quality sustainable packaging to ensure your items reach you in perfect condition. If you receive a delivery and the packaging or item is visibly damaged, please refuse the delivery.
In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item, you may return this item to us in accordance with your statutory rights. Please contact us at returns@blackbirdcollectables.co.uk prior to returning any items. Please return all items to the return address below.
Forms of Redress
The acceptable forms of redress for any returns are a repair, replacement, refund or Gift card.
If an item is deemed faulty following inspection and where a refund cannot be provided, a gift card to the value of the item or a replacement of the same item (subject to stock availability) will be provided.
In all cases, items will be inspected and if confirmed as faulty we will issue a suitable form of redress (replacement/repair/refund).
If an item is not deemed faulty following inspection, then we are unable to offer a replacement or refund. A reason will be given as to why the product is in dispute. We will return such items to the customer at the customer’s cost. In dispute items will be retained by us for 30 days from the date of notification to the customer that no fault has been found and may be destroyed by us after this time where the cost of re-shipping the item to the customer has not been received.
Shipping
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or faulty. See above our policy on refusing delivery if item arrives damaged. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Blackbird Collectables is not responsible for any supplementary costs incurred by a customer caused by delayed/lost/misrouted orders. We recommend using a tracked service to return your item, as we are not responsible for lost returns.
Please retain proof of postage until the return is fully processed.
